JOURNALS FINAL EVALUATION
Monday- Today I finished my house and I started to take pictures of different rooms and views of the house and then I put it into paint to save tthese images. After I was done taking all the views and putting the elevations into the title blogs I uploaded the images on my blog under house pictures evaluation.
Tuesday- Today I started to do my book of my house on photoshop I started to do the title page design and the rest of the pages. I am doing this so mr.D can put this into one big book with all of the students houses
Wednesday- Today I continued to do my hous eon photoshop for a brochure to be printed off. I have done alot of pages so far and I will finish up tommorrow and then later add it to my blog and a seperate folder for evaluation.
Thursday- Today I finished upp all my pages on photoshop for the brochure and I ended up with 12 pages. I then saved them all as photoshop files as well as jpegs. I then added them to my blog for final evaluation and added them to a seperate folder for evaluation on Monday.
Friday- Was not here.

FINAL EVALUATION
This is our first and second project in Rhino. They were tutorials to help us learn the different commands of the program. We learned the program is very similair to AutoCAD and very easy to use if you are fammilair with the program AutoCAD already. We mainly learned out how minipulate th object and render it to look like a solid object

Final Evaluation Journals
MONDAY- Worked on our houses in envisioneer and talked to the grade eight visitors. We showed them how to use AutoCAD and many of our projects that we worked on last year and this year. The teacher asked alot of questions and we had the answers for him. I then continued to work on my house and add windows and doors.
TUESDAY-Worked on rhino drawings and my house design in envisioneer. We started Rhino today and learned the basics with the other grade 12s and 11s. We then created a screw driver and a "v". After these where done I posted them to my blog.
WEDNESDAY-Worked on my house in evisioneer, mainly worked on the couryard and the landscaping around the house. I then added flowers, paths and soil around the house to make it look more real. I also started to add glass all the way around the courtyard.
THURSDAY-Continued to work on my house, I have now done the kitchen, living room and dining room and then the gym up stairs.For the kitchen I added alot of cupboards with glass front which is modern and a nice dining room table that is open to the kitchen. The kitchen also has bar stool to the counter for a nice breakfast bar.
FRIDAY-was not here.
Week 18
Monday- Latley we have been working on our houses. Mine is coming along good and I am almost done my 2 storey San Diego home. I have been focusing on the interior of the house and doing all the last details.
Tuesday- Today I continued to work on the interior of my house. I did the up stairs which includes the gym and the 4th bedroom and also the Art studio upstairs with the balcony going off of the room. All of the colours I have chosen and furniture are very modern and clean cut.
Wednesday- Today I started to do my landscaping outside and adding path ways and decks around the house. I also have a courtyard in the middle of my house so i have put stone throughout that with a garden and a deck for the family to relax on. The house will always have sunlight because there is a courtyard in the middle of their house.
Thursday- Today i started to do the roof. I have some difficulty because the roof kept going through the walls which I didnt want. So I have to play with that as i want it to sit on top of the walls and be flat. I will have to work on the elevation to make this work. I soon have to do , perspective views to post on my blog.\

Design Statement
Design Statement
The house I am designing a house for a family who has a five acre lot located in San Diego, California. They have requested to have a private home that is environmentally friendly. They would like enough room to accommodate weekend guests and a large open floor plan where they can entertain. The mother is an artist so she would like a studio with a lot of light. I chose this location because we can do glass windows, a year round courtyard and the solar panels will be highley effective.
My objectives for the house are to provide a casual and relaxing environment for the whole family and locate it in a private environment. To do so I intend on planting a lot of tall trees around the house. I plan on adding solar panels to the roof facing the best way for effective use. There will be a courtyard in the middle of the house for entertaining and relaxing. Surrounding the courtyard will be glass walls and there will be access into the house by a main entrance and then through to garage into the kitchen. Walking into the house from the courtyard guests will notice the open floor plan from the foyer into living room into dining room and kitchen. This open floor plan will allow for guest entertaining and fulfill the home owner’s needs. Going off the living room with be a porch that the family can also relax on and there will be a pool in the backyard. There is a second floor with stairs coming out through the foyer. Upstairs will contain a fourth bedroom and bath with a large studio as requested. The interior of the house is going to be very modern. My main goal for this project is to keep on track with the client’s needs.

Monday- Today we talked about our plans to make our own house designs. We decided on a contemporary house and we have to do some research before we start our floor plan and bubble diagram

Week 10
Monday- Easter Monday
Tuesday- Today we worked on our sectional drawings and I posted it on on my blog and then I started to work on the second one. We also looked at the architectural plans for the school addition.
Wednesday-Today we continued to work on our sectional drawings, adding dimensions and such.
Thursday- Today we finished our last sectional drawing and I put it into a title blog and posted it on my blog.

Week 8
Monday- Today we got a note on engineering and architecture after that was done we went on moodle and made a note on our blog about it.
Tuesday-Today we started working on envisioneer and getting our floor plans done then updated our blogs.
Wednesday- Today we got an introduction to the program Rhino. We watched a tutorial on YouTube on how to use the basic tools. We made a sphere, cube, and prism then posted it on our blogs. We continued to work on our houses in envisioneer.
Thursday- Today we brought up our sectional drawing presentation and got help from Mr.D then we were given 2 sectional drawings to do.
